Oh what a week so far. Tues my class met for the first time. We went to the British Museum (2nd largest museum in the world). I saw the Rosetta Stone...
I also saw the Egyptian Mummies..
After the museum i spent the bulk of the evening walking around looking for a Mexican restaurant to have margaritas and chips and salsa! No luck, every one we found was closed. No bueno!! Anyone know what I want when I get back???
Yesterday (Wednesday), was a free day for me. So guess what I did...? Sleep in! Ahhhh This is a vacation after all! then i took a long hot bath to soothe my aching muscles followed by a coffee and pastry at an Italian Cafe down the street.
After the cafe we (the shadow and I) went to The British Library and The St. Pancras Hotel. The finds inside the Library were amazing. Pay close attention to the next few pics and captions!!

After which I ditched my shadow....finally and went out by myself. i took a journey on the tube up to Camden town. i was in search of Camden Market, but ended up finding Sylvia Plath's house instead. this was no easy feat seeing as her home wasn't even on my map. But I managed to use my internal gps and compass and found it.
After my trek to her home, my body needed a break so I went to the first place I spotted when arriving in Camden.... The Blues Kitchen! Definitely my sort of place. This made my night, day week. stayed a bit by myself and eventually was met up by a handful of students. We had a fantastic time, and will definitely be back there!!
When I arrived I had met 3 traveling Brazilians. Well one was local the other two were not, but they were extremely entertaining!
